Alldressedup is an eye catcher – he is a skewbald with two toned colouring of dark brown and white – and is raced by club president Peter Shepherdson along with his brother Gary and nephew Chris.
Shepherdson was thrilled to see the nominations that included horses coming from Queensland with the Weidemann girls.
“The Weidemann’s are bringing ten horses and there is also some Hunter Valley horses and Dubbo horses plus we have plenty of local support,” he said.
“They are good competitive fields on Sunday and it is a good lead into the Carnival of Cups meeting the following Sunday.”
Sunday’s meeting will feature two heats of the John Dean Memorial, the second of which Alldressedup will commence from the pole in, and three heats of the Carnival of Cups as well as the feature G & K Anderson – Agies Rural- Wee Waa Newsagents Wee Waa Cup.
“This race is always a draw card but what a field,” Shepherdson said.
“Mitrhys Magic is in the race and he just contested the Tamworth Cup as part of the January racing carnival at Tamworth, Coralie Joy is there with Richard Williams – it won two straight before a bit of trouble last start at Tamworth.”
“Gotta Feeling is in the race as well – he always finishes second here at Narrabri so it would be good to see him have a win as well.”
The seven race program will get underway at 2pm.
