The Fender Benders always put on a good show and this first event of the new year should prove no different.
Keith Urquhart, Geoff Blackstock, Jeremy Keynes and Nathan Riley are some of the drivers chasing the prestigious title.
Each driver will have to take the challenge to race, make contact and bet the other to the line to go on to contest the next driver.
There is also a prize for the most entertaining Bender, so look for some fireworks on the track.
Street Stockers have a great field this meeting with the usual battle between Holden and Ford to take place.
It could also see a battle of the siblings with the Cottons and Farrellys.
The introduction of a new award for the division, chasing the best-and-fairest driver of the night.
Both the Formula 500’s and Speedway Karts are popular with the crowd, and these divisions will turn some of the fastest laps this coming weekend.
Also being able to secure the V8 Dirt Modifieds will help rumble the grandstands.
For the rest of the season it is all about the juniors – introducing the All Stars for drivers between 14 – 17 years and then the New Stars for our upcoming champions aged between 10 – 14 years.
It is awesome to see juniors that progress to senior ranks and making their debuts in senior classes on Saturday will be both Courtney Cotton (street stockers) and David Blanch (V8 Dirt Modifieds).
Gates open at 12 noon, with racing starting at 6pm.
