Police mounted a search for the 66-year-old woman on Wednesday morning after she disappeared on Tuesday night, south of town.
Not long after, Johnno and his handler Senior Constable Adam Gersback tracked the missing woman to a dam on the property.
The 66-year-old woman was taken to Tamworth hospital for treatment after suffering lacerations during the ordeal.
“It is great to see our resources being part of a happy ending and providing comfort at a highly emotional time for a local family,” Oxley Acting Superintendent Jeff Budd said.
