New England rural crime investigators are probing the thefts of the Merino lambs and Two Tooth Merino ewes from Poolbrook Rd at Nullamanna.
Police said the sheep and lambs were yarded in November, last year, but were noticed missing at a muster at the end of January.
“Further mustering, checking of paddocks and inquires with neighbours have failed to locate any sign of the missing sheep,” a police spokesperson said.
“All have an ear mark in the bottom of the nearside ear being a wine glass shape. The lambs were September 2014 drop Lambs.”
Police said the sheep are valued at close to $3,000 and investigators are appealing for anyone who might have noticed suspicious activity in or around the Pineleigh Ln or Poolbrook Rd area.
