The 122-Test veteran will be hosting the Telstra Clinic, a free event which has attracted 120 netballers from around the region.
Tamworth Sporting Dome is hosting the clinic, which starts from 4pm and will run through to 7pm.
Tamworth Netball Association publicity officer Lisa Fox said Ellis, a brilliant defender during her 18-year career, would prove a hit while in the North West.
“It’s going to be great to have Liz in Tamworth,” Fox said.
“The capacity of the clinic is 120 kids, who are between the ages of 7-15.
“But the thing about Liz’s clinic is that it is not just the kids who will benefit.
“We’ll have a number of coaches on hand and it’s also a great opportunity for the coaches to further their own education.”
In addition to the on-court tuition, Ellis will also spend time chatting with the youngsters and provide her insights into what it takes to perform at the highest level.
