Consistency was the key ingredient behind Green’s Open Division triumph, while he also took out the Stockman’s Challenge on Saturday night.
More than 1000 runs were staged across the two days of brilliant competition, with the event’s publicity officer Adam Newman declaring the weekend a success.
“This was the first year we had split the Campdraft and Rodeo, and the feedback we received throughout the weekend was very positive,” Newman said.
“We got great support from the owners who donated their cattle and also the weather was kind to us.”
Northern Territory visitor Terry Jones produced a superb performance to seal the Women’s Division.
Riley Gibson (Tamworth) took out Novice A, with Bundarra’s Cal Gibson emerging triumphant in Novice B.
Will Ramsden sealed top junior, with Kendel Mactavish the leading juvenile. Ben Rossiter (Maiden A) and Lindsay Knight (Maiden B) were other winners.
