St Edward’s Primary School
The students at St Edward's School were given the opportunity to take part in a unique and memorable life experience when Planet Rhythm, a music workshop conducted by John Rattley visited Tamworth last week. The students saw, heard and were able to touch a magnificent collection of 'World Drums’ collected over many years throughout many countries. The students gained an insight into how rhythm and drums originated and evolved into that which we know today. Their confidence and self-esteem was given a major lift from being invited into the process of creating rhythm, standing alongside classmates behind a selection of beautiful exotic drums and being the centre of attention.
