The group is in the middle of auditions for its next production, Rock of Ages, and is looking for cast members who do a good glam rock turn.
Auditions will finish on Saturday and twice-weekly rehearsals will begin next week for the show, which opens in the Capitol Theatre on May 12.
Production manager Adam Petronaitis said Rock of Ages was “built around classic rock songs from the 1980s, with songs from famous glam metal bands”.
They include Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Foreigner and Europe.
“The original Broadway production ran for 2328 performances,” Mr Petronaitis said.
It closed two years ago as number 27 of the longest-running shows in Broadway history.
It was even adapted into a film in 2012 starring Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Russell Brand.
The story takes place on LA’s Sunset Strip and follows busboy/aspiring rocker Drew, who falls for Sherrie, a small-town girl who comes to “make it” in the big city.
Meanwhile, the city’s sex, drugs and rock-’n’-roll lifestyle is under threat from developers.
The other characters include the charming and mischievous bar worker Lonny who also narrates; the sexy, bad-boy rock star Stacee Jaxx; uptight businessman Hertz; and fun hippie Regina.
