The 19-year-old singer, who grew up in Chillagoe, Queensland, received the award when LBS held its open day.
In 2015 she moved to Sydney to study at university, and she released her debut album, Beautiful Life, last July during the Hats Off to Tamworth Festival.
It was recorded in Tamworth with producer Greg Williams.
