A 17-year-old and a 15-year-old were arrested in Calala at about 10pm on Monday and are accused of damaging a house in Wren Cl.
Police allege the 17-year-old confronted the occupant of the house with a baseball bat and smashed the windows at the front of the home.
He is then alleged to have threatened the occupant before his co-accused allegedly chucked a beer bottle through the broken window, causing damage to an internal wall.
During a patrol of the Calala area, the pair were stopped and questioned by police.
The 17-year-old was searched and was allegedly found in possession of a small quantity of cannabis.
He was taken to Tamworth Police Station where police further allege he spat on an officer while in custody.
He was charged with intimidation, being armed with intent, destroying property, aggravated break-and-enter, assaulting police and possessing a prohibited drug.
The 15-year-old was denied bail after he was charged with break-and-enter and intimidation.
