The show will be held on January 27, 28 and 29, and the program includes a bull ride on the Friday night, horse and pony classes, cattle dog trials, a pet show and junior cattle paraders.
Show secretary Julie D’Este said a new feature on the program would be speed shearing.
“Speed shearing is a new concept for our show, so we are looking forward to great participation from shearers local and away,” Mrs D’Este said.
“To entice visitors to the show on the Saturday evening, we will be having fun events such as the whip-cracking competition and then the Farmers Challenge, which should be a lot of fun.
“We are hopeful of having a billy boiling competition, to see who is able to start a fire using only a block of pine, half-box of matches and an axe, and boil their billy in the quickest time.”
However, she said the fireworks and billy boiling were subject to the weather and any fire bans.
Mrs D’Este said there would be canteen and bar facilities all three days; trade shows, sideshows, the pavilion and wool exhibits.
