Of course people relocate based on the employment opportunities that are available to them.
However any good recruitment plan includes a sound retention strategy and the key components of retaining a strong population base in regional Centres like Tamworth include appropriate infrastructure. This includes all tiers education, key services, retail and dining, cultural and recreational infrastructure and affordable housing - this is what will engage people and make them stay and become a part of the community.
Aquatic Facilities should not be pigeon holed as necessarily just a sporting facility. Aquatic facilities provide a vital role in the recreational, social, health and wellbeing fabric of a community.
