A woman has died after being struck by a truck in Sydney's south west on Monday morning.

Police and emergency services were called to Canterbury Road, Bankstown around 2.50am after a woman, believed to aged in her 40s, was hit by the eastbound truck.
The woman died at the scene.
The 69-year-old male truck driver was not injured. He was been taken to Bankstown Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
