Emergency services rushed to Halls Creek Rd, near Bendemeer, just before 7am to reports of serious accident.

On arrival, one person was found inside a vehicle and died at the scene.

Police said the driver’s identity had not been confirmed.

The wreckage was only discovered on Thursday morning but police are trying to piece together when the crash occurred.

A crime scene has been set up at the location.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
