A woman has died and three others have been taken to hospital after a serious four-car crash on the Central Coast on Tuesday afternoon.

The cars were driving on the Motorway Link at Doyalson, near the intersection of Blue Haven Way, when they collided at around 2.25pm.
A woman in her 20s, who police believe was driving one of the cars, died at the scene.
Seven other people were assessed by paramedics.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said two people were taken to John Hunter Hospital by road ambulance.
The first, a man in his late 70s or early 80s, was in a serious condition with arm and chest injuries. The second, a woman in her early 50s, had a fractured wrist and bruising.
A man in his 20s was taken to the same hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
Air Crewman Glen Ramplin from the helicopter service said the man had "multiple injuries".
The Motorway Link, a busy road with a speed limit of 100km/h which funnels cars onto the M1 Pacific Motorway, has been closed in both directions.

It is expected to remain closed for some time.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
