The South-Australian based country star refers to the festival as "Christmas for country music fans" and Cole is gifting festival goers with two presents - her shows at Wests' Leagues Club.
Last year she toured the nation promoting her book Poster Girl, an autobiography of her life and music career, and her eighth studio album, Sweet Rebecca.
It doesn't stop there for the Tamworth veteran. She's about to release a new album with her mate Adam Harvey and she's halfway through writing songs for a solo album.
"It's a great tradition," Cole said of the festival.
"In 1992 I had my first Tamworth Festival, busking in the street with Kasey Chambers. It was a pivotal moment because I knew I wanted to come back every year, and I haven't skipped one.
"I think these kinds of things need to be celebrated. I was one of the many hopefuls on Peel St, looking to get discovered and further my career.
"For me it's always been about offering people something different, my dream come true has been those people listening to my music, buying the albums and coming along to the shows.
"Once the artist realises that it's about these people, they can have a very long, happy career."
Cole and the Sisters of Twang will perform two shows at Blazes Auditorium on Saturday, January 21 and Friday, January 27. She will be supported by the Hussy Hicks, which she says should be a hit with the crowd.
"It's absolutely important to me to make every show different," Cole said.
"It was a year of a lot of reflection because I released my book, and we were going back and doing a lot of the earlier songs, as well as new stuff from my Sweet Rebecca album.
"I don't want people coming to the festival and saying: ‘I've seen Beccy Cole’. I want them to say: ‘What is she going to do this time?’”
