Six riders contested the A grade race, which saw several attacks.
Ash Smith made the first but the field reeled him back in with Spokes organising the group to wear him down. Jack Pianta then broke away and was able to put 100m or so on the field, only to be chased down after a couple of laps.
In the end it came down to a group sprint with Spokes outsprinting Mitch Carrington and Mark Stewart, who was third for the third time in as many races.
Earlier in the combined B and C grade race, the pace was a little slower with Rob Wright doing a lot of the work at the front and trying to initiate a break away. He was unsuccessful though, and like the A grade race it came down to a sprint finish.
Warren Clark lead out before the last turn, but Luke Deasey, was able to round him up to take first place after Clark ran wide on the turn. Clark was able to recover to hold on for second with Darren Taylor pipping Joe Kelly on the line to take third.
Ollie Saunders, Zane Tapp and Fletcher Partlin were meanwhile in Brisbane racing in the third round of the National Junior Track Series.
All three put in a strong performance with Saunders extending her lead in the U15s womens to 54 points.
