POLICE have been called in to investigate after several businesses were broken into or targeted by thieves in the early hours of Sunday.

Between 2.30am and 3.15am, thieves removed a fly screen and smashed a window to gain entry into a Plain St building supplies business in Taminda, Tamworth.
Once inside, they ransacked three offices and stole an amount of money as well as 10 older model Iphones and several sets of car keys.
Police said an alarm sounded at the location.
A construction business in Kingsford Smith St was also targeted between 3.15 and 3.30am on Sunday.
Thieves removed fly screens from two windows but were unable to get in so they jemmied open the workshop door which activated an alarm.
It’s still unknown what property was stolen.
Meanwhile, a window was smashed to get into a rural supplies business off Gunnedah Rd about 5am on the same day.
The offenders rifled through offices but it’s believed nothing was taken.
