Fire and Rescue NSW received several Triple Zero calls for help after nearby residents saw flames leaping from the Arunga St home just after midday.
Two tankers from Moree rushed to find the house engulfed by fire.
The blaze took hold of the weatherboard home in a matter of minutes and part of the roof collapsed.
No one was home at the time of the blaze, which took just under an hour to extinguish.
It’s believed the house is vacant and the cause of the blaze is being investigated.
