It was officially opened 50 years ago and will throw open the gates to the community this afternoon, as a way of thanks.
The Nundle Amateur Swimming Club will run a fundraising barbecue from noon and a short official program will commence at 1pm.
Tamworth Region Mayor Col Murray will be among the guests.
Nundle Swimming Pool was a joint project involving the community and the then Nundle Shire, at a cost of about $21,000.
It included dressing sheds, filters, all fencing, concrete paths and a wading pool. The facility was originally opened by then New England MP Ian Sinclair.
The pool now falls under the control of Tamworth Regional Council.
