The program is a partnership initiative between Sport and Recreation and Cricket NSW with the clinics to be held at a number of locations across the region in January.
Sport and Rec spokesperson, Gaylene Ryan said good numbers of young cricketers aged between 7 and 12 have shown interest.
“The clinics will focus on providing a range of skills and game knowledge that will help with weekend and school cricket programs,” Ryan said. A team of high quality coaches will provide instruction and guidance in a fun and relaxed environment.”
The clinics will be held at Tenterfield and Quirnidi on January 16, Glen Innes and Gunnedah on the 17th, Inverell and Coonabarabran on the 18th, Armidale and Narrabri on the 19th, and Tamworth and Moree on January 20. More information available at sportandrecreation.nsw.gov.au
