Brewfest returned to Tamworth after the success of last year’s inaugural event.
As the mercury climbed to hit a top of 33 degrees, hundreds flocked to the festival as brewers from across the country – some as far as South Australia – put forward offerings of their best beer and cider.
Jimmy Craz Band provided live entertainment, while Charles Hahn, the creator of Hahn Beer, judged the home brew competition.
The winner pocketed a hefty $1000 cash.
Other festival-goers were just as interested in the offerings of local food, which proved the perfect accompaniment to some of the country’s finest drops.
