I WAS thankful for the information from Jan Morris stating in The Northern Daily Leader, how, in 1943 daylight saving was unpopular and this bears out the historical information I researched, saying the same and yet we are constantly told how good it was then and now.
The debate should not still be on. We could and should have been into the trial without daylight saving by now. So much for members of Parliament.
