At Wolseley Park, Mornington began the day 40 runs in arrears with seven wickets in hand before eking out a 16-run lead and therefore avoiding an innings loss.
Mornington slipped from 3-5 to 4-5 before its second innings total of 61 was seven runs less than its first innings total.
Court House skipper Matt Brady noted that youngsters Isaac Harris, Alex Beasley and Kaleb McIlveen made a good impression.
McIlveen took his maiden first grade wicket before scoring seven not out and hitting the winning runs.
“He had a few nerves in his first over. In his second over he got into the swing of things and bowled well,” Brady said of McIlveen.
At Kitchener Park, the Kookaburras resumed at 3-9 and battled on to 167 in reply to Albion’s 262.
The Kookaburras were 7-80 and 8-128 and in danger of having to follow-on, before Shayne Riordan (35 not out) and Troy Sands (17) guided them to safety.
Albion skipper Andy Mack wasn’t too disappointed, as he said “it was a pretty docile wicket”. Sands also said it was “a pretty flat track”, and he deemed that the Kookaburras did well to reach 167 after being 4-12.
