The pair won the scratch event with a handy 8 under, although only just took the title on a countback from Simone Puckeridge and Linett, with Vanessa Ward and Lou Robertson only one shot behind the winners to take out third after a very close day on the fairways and greens.
It was a great day out on the course which saw some very good and very competitive golf.

Over 80 golfers from all over the north of the state turned out for the day, with Ladies spokeswoman Robyn Pritchard claiming It was a great day out on the course which saw some very good and very competitive golf.
In the nett event Maree Kempton and Helen Savage took the trophy with an outstanding round, finishing with five over, two shots in front of runners-up Rhonda O’Brien and Sandy Cowell.
Norelle Miller and Angie Pearson snuck into third on a countback from Pritchard and Alison Hamilton.
Wendy Ryan, Kathy Richardson, Vanessa Ward and Del Short took out the nearest to the pins, while Amanda Carr, Liz Cooper and Alison Hamilton took out the longest drives.
