On January 24, the Tamworth Golf Club will come alive as a country destination, as festival fans and foodies unite for the inaugural Festival Gala Dinner.

The club has joined up with Market the Music to launch a black tie event on the festival calendar.

With great food and fine wine, the event was already a winning act, however, coupled with world class talent, including country artist Hayley Jensen as the host, organisers say this time around it’s one not to miss.

“I have been looking for something a little different to get involved in during the Festival for a while now, so when this opportunity started to develop we were excited to be involved,”Andrew Graham, Tamworth Golf Club CEO said.

Joining Jensen are New Zealand stars of the X-Factor, Mae Valley in their first trip to Tamworth.

Two Golden Guitar winning artists have also signed up to perform adding to the mystery of the gala night.

The glamour evening will feature a sit down 3-course meal, with hors d'oeuvres and drinks on arrival. Music, food, beer and wine will all be included within the $120 ticket price. Tickets will be on sale from Tamworth Golf Club from Monday, October 31 and will be strictly limited to 150.

The evening has already attracted heavyweights Yalumba and Tooheys as sponsors, in addition to Market the Music, Pope productions and Tamworth Event Planners.
