Car window rocked
POLICE are investigating after a rock thrown at a car in a busy Tamworth street smashed the front windscreen.

A woman was behind the wheel of her new grey Mazda sedan when she stopped at the traffic lights at the intersection of Crown and Bridge streets about 4.30pm on Tuesday.
Police were told three juveniles were seen on pushbikes riding down Crown St before one threw a rock which smashed the front windscreen.
Taminda business targeted
Two lights have been stolen from cars parked at a business in Taminda.
Between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, offenders have broken the lock on the back door to the mechanical workshop of a Barnes St shop.
A security alarm sounded and the thieves fled the scene but not before rummaging through several vehicles parked in a yard.
Police have been told a spotlight from one car was stolen as well as an LED light bar from another.
Juveniles dealt with under Young Offenders Act
Two juveniles will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act after admitting to a break-in at a local golf club.
About 7.45pm on Tuesday, officers were called to the Tamworth Golf Club after two youths were spotted coming out of of the gold cart storage shed.
A staff member at the club gave chase before the young boys damaged the 11th green and jumped the fence to escape the grounds.
A driver and a one iron, as well as three golf balls were reported stolen from the club.
Fence cut by offenders
Police launched patrols of the area and about 11pm stopped and spoke to three juveniles in Susanne St, South Tamworth.
Two of the boys allegedly made admissions to their involvement in the earlier break-in and will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
Police are appealing for witnesses after three offenders were seen breaking into a yard of a freighting business in Taminda.
A security guard detected three people trespassing in the yard of the company’s headquarters in Kingsford Smith St about 12.20am on Wednesday.
Officers were called to the scene but the offenders fled.
It’s believed nothing was stolen from the yard but a rear fence was cut by the offenders to gain entry.
Anyone who noticed suspicious activity in Taminda in the early hours of Wednesday is being urged to contact Tamworth police.
