Gallery education officer Kate Armstrong has recently returned from a scholarship program at the Art Gallery of NSW, and she’s hoping to bring some ideas home.
“We’re looking at the possibility of doing after hours collection tours, after hours exhibitions and after hours curator talks,” she said.
“We’re now starting off a block of classes, in November, after hours, of human figure drawing, clothed and unclothed models and looking at how we can better cater for that group of working people.”
Ms Armstrong spent two weeks with the Art Gallery of NSW, with funding provided through the NSW Government’s 2016 Fellowship, Mentorship and Volunteer Placement Program.
