THREE men have been charged after allegedly detaining another man and threatening him with a firearm in Moree.

A 25-year-old man attended a home in Brand Street, Moree, to meet with a 30-year-old man who is known to him about 8am Saturday.
At the home, the younger man was allegedly detained for a period of 17 hours by three males, and was allegedly threatened with a firearm during the incident.
About 1.30am on Sunday, the 25-year-old man left the address and police were contacted shortly after.
Police from Barwon Local Area Command subsequently launched an investigation.
About 2.40pm the same day, a search warrant was executed at the Brand Street home, during which police allegedly located two unregistered .22 calibre rifles, an amount of methamphetamine, and cannabis, and other drug paraphernalia.
The 30-year-old man was arrested at the time of the warrant after a short foot pursuit.
He was taken to Moree Police Station and charged with detain for advantage, and two counts of possess unregistered firearm.
The man was refused bail and is due to face Moree Local Court on Wednesday, December 14.
The two other males, aged 37 and 16, have also since been arrested by police.
The teen was charged with possess prohibited drug, possess unregistered firearm, and detain in company with intent for advantage. He was refused bail to appear in Children’s Court on Monday, December 5.
The 37-year-old man was charged with detain in company with intent for advantage and was refused bail to appear before Moree Local Court on Wednesday, December 14.
