The usual four round event played over two weekends was cut short by the rain on Saturday forcing the competition to be played over 54 holes rather than the usual 72.
That made no difference to David Hamilton who claimed back to back Club Championships as he won a third career title finishing with a two over score of 211.
Hamilton also picked up the title in 2012 and said that cxonsistent golf over the three days took him to the top.
Hamilton started the third and final day with a seven shot lead over his closest rival after shooting a 68 last Sunday, and then pulled even further away to finish nine shots in front of runner-up Tom Gill, who was one shot in front of fellow former winner John Trevaskis.
“The course is in great nick despite the rain,” Hamilton said.
“I was just consistent over the three days.”
