End of an era: NDL moves, new plans for building
I've always wondered what it was like on the inside but using a wheelchair has meant I couldn't go inside. Hopefully whatever goes inside is made wheelchair friendly and the new workplace is wheelchair friendly as I've always dreamed of a job at NDL!

I worked there in 1986/7. Editorial then was in the 'annexe' building down the side. Everybody smoked and had an ashtray on their desk. If you wanted to make a STD call (even to places like Scone) you had to book it with the switchboard operator! Times have changed, good to hear the grand old building has new owners who appreciate the history

Good to see the old building being put to better use, if only someone could do something with the old Regent and Workies buildings. Good luck to both parties on the new digs and ventures.

I worked there 1983/84. Sad to see NDL moving. Better digs I suppose.

Another restaurant? This town has too many struggling restaurants as it is... and why are people trying to turn this town into a concrete jungle by having 'flashy' apartments right in the cbd? It’s Tamworth not Sydney.

So are we going to have the same bottleneck that the Manilla Rd has. The short answer is YES. Werris Cr road won't handle the commute traffic. It is hard enough to get onto Werris cr road from Kent St at commute times.

Growing the town helps us all.. There are always going to be problems with it, but overall we all benefit.
