Science – Electricity & Lighting Night. What an electrifying time was had on Tuesday at the science night. Who would have thought that electricity could be so interesting? Students were fascinated with the electrical experiments. Some students (and Mr Sevil) were even ‘shocked’ by the experiments! Ned, Emily, Gus & Mr Sevil as well as Alana and Joey from Wallabadah took part in a ‘shocking’ experiment where they all experienced an electric shock! Mr Eastwell also demonstrated how electricity is attracted to sharp points before explaining to everyone the dangers associated with electricity and lightning. A big thank you to all students and parents who attended the evening and to Wallabadah students, parents and staff that also joined us for the show as part of our joint science program. Further thanks to Mrs Barnett and Zara for cooking the BBQ for all to enjoy. It is great that small schools can offer extra-curricular activities to students and we thank the families who continue to support these to enhance their child’s learning.
