TWO Moree women and a girl have been arrested after allegedly assaulting police officers in the town on Tuesday night.
About 11pm on Tuesday night the station received reports an officer was being attacked at a residence in Dingwall Place, Moree.
Police will allege a number of people became violent after police responded to a call out to a domestic incident at the address.
During the course of their inquiries a number of people struck out at the police officers.
Two officers, male and female, were struck in the face causing minor injuries.
Two females were arrested in Dingwall Place yesterday morning and taken to Moree Police Station were they were formally charged.
Among those charged include: a 41-year-old female charged with assault, assaulting an officer in the execution of duty, resisting or hindering a police officer in the execution of duty and affray; a 19-year-old woman was charged with assaulting a police officer in the execution of duty, resisting or hindering a police officer in the execution of duty, escaping police custody and affray; and a 16-year-old girl who was charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting police and assault.
They will appear to answer to the charges in More Local Court on December 17.
