The latest to be offered are sites in NSW, worth about $10 million each, which have fast food giants as part of the complex to generate solid rents.

The national director, investment services at Colliers International, Harry Bui, said the vendors are capitalising on strong interest from both domestic and offshore investors seeking quality assets with coveted long-term leases to blue chip tenants, such as 7-Eleven, VIVA Energy and Hungry Jacks.

"Investors are drawn to the high profile nature of the sites, allowing for a secure long term investment, high profile multinational covenant, guaranteed rental reviews and potential reversion at the end of the lease from the underlying land value," Mr Bui said.

The site at 190-198 Princes Highway, South Nowra, is being sold by Colliers International's director James Wilson. Harry Bui and Alexander Elliott will act on behalf of APN. The site at 190 Eumundi Road, Noosaville, is being sold by Mr Bui on behalf of the vendor Empirica.

They are part of Colliers International's national November auction portfolio.

The sales come as Woolworths looks to sell its $1.6 billion-plus petrol station portfolio. Potential buyers are said to include BP and Vitol and Caltex Australia, who have seen the success of the $911 million VIVA Energy float, while the proposed United Petroleum has set itself a December 31 deadline for its long-awaited initial public offering.

Mr Elliott, executive retail investment services at Colliers International, said the low interest rates have led to premiums being achieved for investments with fixed annual reviews which are highly prized in the current low inflation environment.

Savills' associate director retail investment and sales NSW, Andrew Palmer, is also selling a service station at 137-139 Kingsgrove Road, Kingsgrove, Sydney. It is leased to Viva Energy until March 2021, with a five-year option and has net rental of $183,022 per annum.
