Both tournaments had to be moved to the synthetic wickets in Tamworth after the wet weather, although despite a few slow outfields some great cricket was played and some big scores recorded.
The U15 tournament was held Sunday and Monday, before the senior girls took over for Tuesday and Wednesday, with two representative sides named after each to take on their city counterparts in the State Challenge.
On Monday North Coast made short work of Illawarra to claim a 26 run victory and take home the title.
After winning the toss North Coast set Illawarra 100 runs for victory, and after Anika Learoyd took the ball that score was a long shot.
Learoyd snared an amazing 5-5 from four overs of crafty bowling to be named player of the final and grab a place in the Country Sixes side alongside three local representatives.
Keeper Dahlia Glennie, quick bowler Jess Davidson and all rounder Lara Graham all made the side after impressing with Central North.
In the U18s it was a towering total rather than bowling that did the damage to Riverina as North Coast locked up the second title.
Kaitlyn Beaumont smashing 73 at opener to cap off a big series and launch the side to the biggest total of the tournament, a whopping 173.
In reply Riverina could only manage 77 as they tried to hit out at the big score.
Central North finished with two wins and two losses, including being the only side to roll North Coast during the tournament.
The hosts also saw four players make the cut for further duty in the Country Thunder team.
Claire Lennon, Georgia Bye, Kirsten Smith and Tayla Knight all making the cut after the teams were announced on Thursday.
