A man has been charged with alleged firearms offences after an incident in Mullaley this week.

Police have been told a 41-year-old attended a licensed premises on Black Stump Way in Mullaley, near Gunnedah, on Thursday.
It is alleged the man was in possession of a firearm and threatened patrons before fleeing the scene.
Officers from the Oxley Local Area Command investigated the incident and the man was arrested at 1.30pm and taken to Gunnedah Police Station.
The man has been charged with two counts of possess loaded firearm public place, two counts of fire firearm in or near public place, two counts of carry firearm manner likely injure person/property, two counts of possess shortened firearms (not pistol) without authority, use unregistered firearm-prohibited firearm, armed with intent commit indictable offence, aggravated enter dwelling with intent – armed, not keep firearm safely – not prohibited firearm.
He was bail refused and appeared in Tamworth Local Court on Saturday.
