Guest speaker Annie Bleeker urged listeners to see the person, not the drug.
“”Those who seek support, absolutely go on to have happy and productive lives,’’ Annie, from the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, said.
The main thing families could do was to “stay connected” with the person. To put ice in perspective, for every one death attributed to ice, there are 65 from alcohol.
