Unfortunately the weather and wet grounds just didn’t suit an open day. The new date is in Week 2 of next term – Thursday the 20th of October (P&C meeting to follow).

The K-2 excursion is being held next term in Week 5 on Tuesday the 8th and Wednesday the 9th of November. K-2 students will first learn about ‘meeting needs’ and Wiradjuri culture at Red Hill Environmental Education Centre where they will spend the night. Day 2 will involve travelling to Dubbo and spending the day at Dubbo Zoo before returning home. Thank you to the P&C for subsidising this excursion.

The Year 6 students are looking fantastic in their Year 6 shirts. Thank you to Mrs Dowe for organising the design and ordering of the shirts. This is the 2nd year that Year 6 students at Carroll PS have had a Year 6 shirt and they just get better and better.

The date has been set for Presentation Day and is Friday the 2nd of December and the Year 6 Graduation & Disco will be held on the night ofThursday the 15th of December.

We are seeking the donation of old towels. When it has been raining, we need to wipe off the seats and tables in the eating area so that we can sit on dry seats. If you can help, please send your old towels in to school.

I’d like to say thank you to all of the staff, volunteers, parents, community, P&C and students who work hard to make Carroll PS the best place to learn and work.

Have a safe and happy holiday, see you next term.  Thank you Rebecca Hopkins - Relieving Principal.
