Stephen Fairless scooped the pool when the Tamworth Swans held their presentation at the Oxley Bowling Club on Saturday night.
The midfielder/defender dominated the count in the Damien Wendt Trophy for the clubs’ best and fairest, polling a total of 59 votes to take the gong ahead of Gavin Knee on 36 votes.
Fairless was also named the Swans' Player's Player picking up the now to be known as Dean Finlay Trophy. He was a clear winner in that poll, ending the year with nearly three times the votes of his nearest teammate, again Knee. Knee was also runner-up to co-coach James Dunstan for the leading goalscorer.
Ruckman Andrew Finlay was a very deserving winner of The Presti, while Julian Jasper was named the Rookie of the Year and Nathan Gibson the Best Backman. Martin Keir won the Coaches Award with Alister McClenaghan awarded the President's Award.
The club also inducted Clubperson of the Year Josh McKenzie as its fourth Life Member.
