Bike veers off the road
A MAN who plunged down an embankment on his motorbike near Tamworth was airlifted to hospital on Tuesday morning.

It is reported the motorbike left the road after rounding a bend and went down the embankment on the Limbri - Weabonga Rd, south east of Tamworth. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew the 71-year-old patient to Tamworth Hospital with suspected abdominal and chest injuries, and a possible broken collarbone. He is in a stable condition.
