Be it on the netball or basketball court, or rugby league or touch field, the Year 5 student is a standout.
Next month she’ll wing her way to Mandurah in Western Australia to play for the NSW PSSA U12s touch football team at the School Sport Australia Championships.
“I’m pretty excited about it,” she said.
Her selection in the NSW side followed an outstanding campaign with North West at the State PSSA carnival at Coffs Harbour.
It was her second time playing for the zone team and she was surprised to hear her name read out. Especially after North West had finished in the bottom half of the teams.
She’s been playing touch since she started school and plays “in the middle”.
“I like it because it’s fun and quite fast,” she said.
Also prominent in the schools netball side she will on Wednesday be taking the court for them in their State PSSA Knockout quarter-final against Belair.
