HOW long can this debate on daylight saving go on?
At the Historical Society today, I was reading an NDL from August 26, 1943. I found an article which says “ Tamworth Municipal Council is not in favor of the reintroduction of daylight saving. This was indicated at the last fortnightly meeting of council when the majority of aldermen expressed their views. They agreed that, as far as country people were concerned, daylight saving was not desirable.”
And so the debate goes on.
