Fellowship exams are the final assessments in a young doctor’s journey to becoming a fully qualified GP.
Dr Baker currently practices at the Smith Street surgery in Tamworth and had previous experience at Tamworth hospital, as well as an academic post with the University of New England.
Now a fully-qualified GP, Dr Baker is keen to keep practicing in Tamworth.
“I will be remaining in Tamworth for the foreseeable future,” she said.
I enjoy rural practice for its scope, variety and the opportunities it affords me both personally and professionally.
“I have greatly enjoyed my time training in Tamworth.
“The lifestyle and work are both rewarding, and the community has been very supportive of me during my time here.
“I would highly recommend the New England region as a place for future junior doctors to live and train.”
