But on Tuesday organisers said the fun was just beginning with more announcements to come.
Ramping up the lead up to January’s festival chaos, organisers announced tickets to big name acts including The McClymonts, Graeme Connors, Felicity Urquhart, Paul Costa and Camille and Stuii would all go on sale on Thursday.
Their latest list of country stars follows a major announcement in July which included Troy Cassar-Daley’s Australian Day concert at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre along with early bird tickets to the Golden Guitar Awards.
The day before Cassar-Daley’s show, award winning sister trio, The McClymonts will perform at the same venue, fresh off the success of their 10 Years of Hits Tour.
“Tamworth is like a second home for us and we’re ready to kick it up at the TRECC on Australia Day eve,” Mollie McClymont said.
“We can’t wait to get back to the Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival in Tamworth to play everyone our new songs as well as all the favourites,” Mollie McClymont said.
Tamworth Regional Council Manager Events Barry Harley said the announcements just keep coming.
“2016 Roll of Renown inductee Graeme Connors will return to the Tamworth Town Hall stage on Friday 27 January with a brand new show ‘Modern Histories’, focusing on his much loved and renowned story songs,” he said.
“Also going on sale from 1 September will be Felicity Urquhart hosting The Tamworth Opry, Willie & Roy – The Legends, Paul Costa and Camille & Stuii.”
Following the announcement, other local venues have released their festival line up including The South Tamworth Bowling Club who will feature Darren Carr, Anthony Taylor, Dan Murphy and more.
