Bower was named the Northern Inland Football's Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month for July while Wentworth picked up the Newcastle Permanent Community Coach of the Month award for July.
He was nominated by Souths United Football Club (FC) for his commitment to a number of teams over the duration of his service to the club.
“Lachlan has clearly worked very hard to ensure that his team enjoys their football experience,” NNSWF Community Football Manager Peter Haynes said.
Doohan was nominated by Kootingal and District Soccer Club (SC) for her ongoing commitment and dedication to football over a year of service.
“The passion and commitment that Doohan demonstrates goes a long way to ensuring that Kootingal and District SC is a great place to play football and highlights how valuable she is to the club,” Haynes said.
