Last year the Bulldogs bounced the Blues out in the corresponding game after they had finished ahead of them and beaten them twice.
The form line was the same going into Saturday, and at 18-12 down at half-time the Blues had the job ahead of them. But they dug in and ground their way to a spot in the preliminary final.

“We were down 18-6 at one stage.”
They had scored first but some poor discipline and a couple of defensive lapses late in sets, allowed the Bulldogs to get on top.
“We talked about (at half-time) having an attitude change and digging in for one another,” Cameron said.
