Ready there and waiting is Pirates after they brushed aside the Blue Boars in the major semi-final last Saturday.
The Blue Boars are hurting from the result, particularly the manor that they were beaten, and are viewing Saturday as a chance to redeem themselves.
“We all know we can be better than we were last week,” Blue Boars coach Nick Lennon said.
“Last week was pretty disappointing.”
It was a continuation of what was a fairly disappointing second round, unable to deliver on what they showed in the first round.
“It's very frustrating to know what we can do,” Lennon said.
“I know if we can cut down our mistakes we've got a lot of points in us.”
“But we've got to have good ball security and make our tackles.”
They were for him the most pressing issues out of last week, and where they really need to be a lot better.
“In attack we were turning over ball. We were getting ball taken out of our arms and dropping the ball,” Lennon said.
It meant they couldn't really get a roll on.
Defensively they just fell off too many tackles. They can't afford to do that against a Bulls side that has got some big bodies and is strong across the forwards and backs.
“Their forwards pick and drive well and get around the corner well,” Lennon said.
“They've got plenty of speed in the backs as well.”
“We've got to be on our game in attack and defence.
“They can score a lot of points quickly.”
As they are only to well aware.
Last time the two sides met the Bulls produced a storming second half to snag a draw.
It's been something of a familiar story for the Bulls this season. Last week they fought back from 19-nil down to beat Walcha 41-24.
“When we drew with them we had a decent lead on them as well,” Lennon recalled.
“Even if you can get a good lead early you can't take the foot off the pedal.”
The other big lesson they've taken from that last game is the threat the Bulls pose at the breakdown.
“If we didn't have the support they were able to pinch our ball,” he said.
“We've got to make sure we have speed at the breakdown.”
Lennon has made a couple of changes bringing Joe Maunder into prop and pushing Beau Brummell to hooker, to give them a bit more weight in the scrum.
Luke Tuckey also comes onto the wing for Jydon Hill, while with Mitch Kelly's welcome return in the centres Henri Knight shifts out to outside centre.
