The two met just last week with the Scorpions getting the points 4-3 after leading 4-1 with around 20 minutes to go.
“There's a couple of small things we have to do to beat them,” FC co-coach Greg Bartlett said.
“But they are a good side.”
One of those things is shut down Wright. His departure made a huge difference last time, Bartlett said.
“We've just got to closet Ben down and I think that shuts a lot if their attack down,” he said.
“They're not just a one man team, but a lot of their play comes out of Ben. If we nullify him, it's going to go a long way.”
The Scorpions finished third on the ladder, and Wright told The Armidale Express, his side are ready to step up a notch in the semi-final.
“The key will be to head out and stick to our game plan again,” Wright said.
“We've had a good look at them right across the board and can now work to the little areas which let us down in the second half last week. I'm sure it will be another tough contest as they've had a good look at us now as well, but we are confident of coming out with the result if we perform to our best.”
There have been a few upsets in the last couple of rounds but Wright said that doesn’t faze his side, and it will come down to who turns up ready to play.
“Honestly I think it will come down to who takes their chances on the day. It’s semi final football now so any slip-ups and you can be eliminated. We know there's no second chances,” he said.
