The bright and bubbly Oxley High School student was one of four faces of Factorie’s August campaign and her face is now featuring in stores and promotional material across the world.

No stranger to life in front of and behind the camera, with her mum being a local photographer, Jess said she fell into modelling and was signed with an agency.

Factorie was her first big break and the young beauty said she was overwhelmed by the opportunity.

“My agency got in contact with Factorie who were pretty interested in shooting with me and I was on the shortlist for awhile,” she said.

“It was my first professional shoot, it was pretty intimidating at first as the others were older and taller and more experienced but it was really, really fun.”

Jess told The Leader she took up the opportunity with the international brand because modelling was something she’d always had an interest in.

“My mum is a family photographer, I’ve always kind of been used to the camera, there was always an interest in it for me, in front and behind it,” she said.

“I have always been interested in the industry, I thought I would try something out and it was successful.”

As for what happens next, the Tamworth teenager said she hopes to continue school and get a place at university to start a career – but she’s still deciding on what that will be.
