The school is believed to be the only one in Australia to run an on-property ram sale.
The wool science students have been responsible for all the decision-making leading up the auction, and will also run the event.
More than 70 rams will be up for sale in the school’s trade training centre from 11.30am on the day.
Not only buyers but also the public are welcome to go along, with free morning tea and lunch provided.
Buyers will travel from all across Australia to bid on the rams using the helmsman or silent auction system.
Ag teacher Darren Smith said the sale gave the students great experience.
“Being the only school ever to do this gives us a lot of exposure to some clients.”
